Important: To work with Safe Harbor Farm's dogs, you must have watched at least 12 episodes of The Dog Whisperer and you must be able to use calm-assertive energy around the dogs. We take the training of our dogs seriously, so we require our volunteers to take THEIR training seriously.

Have perennials to spare?

link your family & friends' Food Lion MVP cards to SHF. (see below)

*** Food Lion MVP cards. Simply compile a list of names, addresses, phone #'s and 12-digit MVP numbers (from the back of each MVP card) from family, friends, neighbors & co-workers. Submit it to us HERE and we'll add them to the list of SHF's friends at Food Lion through Food Lion's computers. It costs everyone nothing, and it doesn't affect anyone's grocery discounts! Food Lion generously sends our shelter hundreds of dollars each quarter to help the critters, and the more numbers linked to us, the more they will donate!!

     (1) Watch Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer program on the National Geographic Channel,
          weekdays at 3 and Friday nights at 8.
     (2) Purchase DVDs of The Dog Whisperer seasons 1-4 inexpensively at
          www.amazon.com, Barnes & Nobles or Books-a-Million.
     (3) Rent The Dog Whisperer DVDs through Net Flicks.
     (4) If you've watched at least a dozen episodes already and you'd like to view our large
          collection of Cesar DVDs, this can be arranged at our Dog Center.
